What is a Traditional Balinese?
Brwniver has always been our favorite, and will remain with us in retirement as our beloved pet
While there is some differences of opinion on whether the Balinese cat resulted from a spontaneous genetic mutation that caused a longer haired coat, or the Siamese cat was interbred with a Turkish Angora or other long haired cat, the fact of the matter is- after many years of breeding side by side, the Balinese cat is a longer haired version of the Siamese. They have the same quirky personality traits, talkative inquisitve nature and high level of intelligence that Siamese do, only they are -well "FLUFFIER"!!!!
Mia and Max live in Virginia- their parents came all the way here to get Mia, and less than a year later decided they liked her so much they'd make a second trip here for Max...needless to say by looking at this picture, it was worth the trip...
Galadrielle is the daughter of Brwniver- eye color in the two is just stunning- the bluest of blues I have ever seen. Like mama, she is a seal point Balinese- but she carries all four colors and gives us a nice variety of Balinese kittens.
